            BA Business, University of Minnesota

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:

Twin Cities Quality Assurance Association (TCQAA)

VALUE OF QUALITY:

I was participant in a calculation of quality meeting.  The members determined that the implementation of an enterprise class shop floor application usually caused the loss of 25 manufacturing days over the first six months.  In this case, the factory impacted by the application was producing product at $80,000 per day.  The application going to the floor defect free saved the organization about 2 million dollars in revenue alone.

SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS:

Championed and executed the move from Microsoft Word based Testing Scripts to IBM Rational Manual Tester and then IBM Rational Functional Tester.

Expert IBM Rational Manual Tester and IBM Rational Functional Tester test script writer.

Responsible for the applications interface on the Medtronic Team when Medtronic was selected to Beta Test the new version of IBM Rational products.

Brought all applications to production defect free at Medtronic, Ecolab and Hutchinson Technology.

Have become a change agent for the quality assurance process at each company.

As the Technical Business Analyst on the Customer Experience Enhancement (CEE) project at Best Buy reduced customer session abandonment, during checkout process, from 60 to 30 percent.  Created the prototype version of the interstitial page, which is displayed between the Submit Your Order and the Thank You pages.  This was the first browser side DHTML page on the BestBuy.com site.  Estimated revenue growth estimated between 3 and 5 million dollars per month.

Developed the legacy customer, order, and inventory data warehouse at Guidant Corporation during the ERP platform swap from IDMS to SAP, ensuring FDA regulatory compliance.

Enhanced the legacy customer, order and inventory data warehouse upon the purchase of Intermedics.  Again, this is a FDA regulatory requirement.

Transferred vital records from Intermedics to Guidant.  Again, proper tracking and storage is a FDA requirement having a potential corporate shutdown impact.

Created a Logical and Physical Order Entry database for Jostens Printing and Publishing Division.  The change was required to continue corporate growth.

Created billing application system for employees of customer corporations at St. Luke痴 Hospital in Duluth, which allowed entry into a new business arena.  Estimated value was $100,000 per year.
